Red Cross Chapter Collecting Holiday Cards for Military Members

Give Something That Means Something with messages of thanks and holiday cheer to military members, veterans, and their families

The American Red Cross Mid Central Pennsylvania Chapter is inviting the community to join this year’s Holiday Mail for Heroes campaign and create or sign cards of thanks to members of the armed forces, veterans, and their families. Cards will then be delivered to military organizations, veteran homes and hospitals, and military support groups with your notes of thanks and well wishes this holiday season.

“Veterans, military members, and their families have expressed to us that they greatly appreciate these messages and holiday wishes. The reminder that their sacrifices have not been forgotten, and that there are communities continuing to support them means so much to those who have served our country”, shared Hope Roaten, Executive Director, Mid Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Greater Pennsylvania Region.
“This is only a small part of the many ways we support our nation’s military through the Service to the Armed Forces program.” Roaten added.
